FROM THE ORIGINAL VIDEO · LEARNING REPLAY
Point to the things around you.
These three review turns follow the story in the original video. They are a teaching replay for pointing to things, not new facts about the characters or whose belongings they own.
Minji
이 옷은 제 옷이에요. 이것은 유키 씨의 가방이에요. 가방에 책이 있어요.
These clothes are mine. This is Yuki's bag. There is a book in it.
この服は私の服です。これはユキさんのカバンです。中に本があります。
Yuki
그것은 휴대폰이에요? 그 옷도 민지 씨 옷이에요?
Is that a phone? Are those clothes yours too?
それは携帯電話ですか。その服もミンジさんの服ですか。
Mrs. Park
저것은 빨래예요. 저 규칙표를 봐요. 오늘은 같이 청소해요.
That's the laundry. Look at that rule chart. Let's clean together today.
あれは洗濯物です。あのルール表を見ましょう。今日は一緒に掃除します。
A little teamwork makes a house feel like home.
FROM THE STORY TO YOUR OWN WORDS
This, that, and a place to call home.
Point to nearby and distant things, with or without naming them.
01
Small words that point the way.
01FROM THE ORIGINAL DIALOGUE
엄마, 이게 뭐예요?
Mom, what’s this?
Minji points to the new chore chart. 이게 is a common spoken contraction of 이것이. Recognize it here; the practice below focuses on 이/그/저 and 이것/그것/저것.
That over there is the laundry. Look at that rule chart over there.
From the learning replay. 저것 stands on its own; 저 comes before 규칙표. Both point away from speaker and listener. The laundry and chart are different objects.
Use 이, 그, or 저 before a noun. Use 이것, 그것, or 저것 to refer to a thing without repeating its name.
Near the speaker → 이 / 이것 이 옷 · 이것 Near the listener → 그 / 그것 그 옷 · 그것 Far from both → 저 / 저것 저 규칙표 · 저것
Leave a space before a noun: 이 옷. Write 이것, 그것, and 저것 as one word; particles attach directly: 그것은. 그 can also refer to something already mentioned, not only something near the listener.
In the story, 이게 뭐예요? uses the spoken contraction 이게 = 이것이. Treat it as a useful expression; contractions are not tested here.
NEAR ME이 · 이것
NEAR YOU그 · 그것
OVER THERE저 · 저것
BUILD THE FORM
이 + 옷 → 이 옷
FROM THE LEARNING REPLAY
이 옷은 제 옷이에요.
These clothes are mine.
Use 이 before a noun for something near the speaker. Without the noun, use 이것. The replay also says: 이것은 유키 씨의 가방이에요.
The moving distance guide and form-building diagrams are added learning aids. The finished sentences come from the original learning replay. Its ownership examples are practice, not new character facts. Housework expressions are for story comprehension; this quiz focuses on pointing words.
