Camping & Tasks in Order
Learn 12 words, read four examples, and practice with six questions and answers.
BeginnerEnglishIntroduction
A camping trip gives you a clear sequence of tasks: prepare your gear, pitch a tent, and tidy up. Learn these words as action pairs, such as 텐트를 치다 and 짐을 정리하다, so that the next step is easy to describe.
Romanization is an approximate reading aid. Read the Korean spelling first.
Today’s Vocabulary
Useful Phrases
I go camping on the weekend.
I arrived at the campsite.
I put up the tent.
I finished all the preparations.
Make Your Own Sentences
Read each phrase once with the translation visible. Cover the translation and say it again. Then replace one person, place, or object with a word from this lesson. Keep the particles and the verb form consistent.
Hyeju’s Note
치다 has several meanings. With 텐트 it means pitch or put up, not hit. 피우다 also depends on its object: 불을 피우다 means light a fire, while 담배를 피우다 means smoke. These examples teach word combinations; follow the rules of the campsite for actual activities.
