Lesson 19 · Comparing Things & Prices
Hyeju’s Beginner Korean Vocabulary · Lesson 19
Comparing Things & Prices
Learn 12 Korean words for price, length, weight, and similarity, with natural shopping examples, romanization, and practice.
Introduction
Two bags may look similar, but one can be cheaper or lighter. Learn descriptive pairs so you can compare a specific feature. 가방 and 옷 are review, and 무거워요 / 가벼워요 extend the ㅂ pattern from Lesson 16. Choose a feature rather than judging a person generally.
Romanization is a reading aid, not a complete pronunciation guide. Read Hangul first. Notes marked “Review” revisit earlier themes; other words extend today’s topic.
