계산 is a noun meaning “calculation” or “payment” depending on context. Add 하다 to make the verb: 계산하다 → 계산해요.

현금으로 계산해요. = I pay in cash.
신용카드로 계산해요. = I pay by credit card.

The particle -(으)로 here shows the means of payment; you can learn its full grammar pattern later.
