V-기 쉽다 · V-기 어렵다easy / hard to do · likely to happen

Add -기 to a verb to turn it into “doing”, then say how easy or hard it is: 이 책은 읽기 쉬워요 (This book is easy to read). 그 사람 이름은 기억하기 어려워요 (That person’s name is hard to remember). -기 쉽다 can also mean “likely to”: 겨울에는 감기에 걸리기 쉬워요 (You’re likely to catch a cold in winter).
